Job Description:

Responsible in setting up table, preparing utensils and overall needs of guest in the dining area. Focuses and delivers excellent customer service to clients and guests.

 

Directly reporting to the Team Leader/Site Supervisor/Branch Manager; under Dining Department

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set- ups and arranges tables, chairs in time for the next meal and helps prepare the utensils, linens and other items to be used. Reset and clean the tables after the guests had left.
  • Promotes upselling and contribute to the development of cordial guest relation by anticipating guest need and accommodating their legitimate request.
  • Promotes the selling wines and other drinks by presenting the menu.
  • Serves food and beverages promptly, fill and replenish ice water, butter, cream, sugar, etc.
  • Maintains or helps the maintenance to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
  • Keeps the Supervisor or Site Manager informed of all problems or matters of significance and suggests possible improvements.
  • Refers all guest complaints that couldn’t handle by himself to the Supervisor or Site Manager. (Handle the complaint in the most diplomatic and positive matter).
  • Take active part in the preparation of other special offer, promotional activities or other events.
  • Focuses and delivers excellent Customer Service.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • With Diploma Course/Certificate in Hotel and Restaurant Management, or any relevant course
  • Flexible to work at shifting schedules and able to work in hectic environment
  • With at least 6 months experience as server
  • With good customer service skills
  • Willing to be trained and can work under minimum supervision
